Every basket that leaves our workshop at Byron Classics is sewn and finished the same way it was thirteen years ago, by Olivia and Diane, in Melbourne. We're closing the shop soon to move overseas, but until then, nothing about how these are made is changing.
WHY OURS IS DIFFERENT
Most quilted baskets you'll find online are quilted in patches, just enough stitching to hold shape for a listing photo. Ours are quilted edge to edge, the whole surface, before the fabric is ever cut and sewn. It's slower. It's also why this one stands upright on its own, even when empty, and holds its shape properly, wash after wash, not just in the first week.
Crafted from a 20% cotton, 80% polyester blend, thick and structured enough for daily use, still soft enough to feel right in your hands. The design is printed, not embroidered, in fine detail that wraps the whole way around, so there's no "wrong side" to turn away from a room.

Medium** (41cm × 56cm) — bedrooms, laundry rooms, shared spaces
Large** (51cm × 71cm) — family laundry, linen storage, bigger households
MADE TO ORDER, HONESTLY
Because each piece is made by hand to order, there's a natural variation of up to 20% in colour, pattern and stitching between individual baskets, and dimensions may vary by a few centimetres. We'd rather tell you that upfront than have it surprise you.
